When the costumes arrive, there will be a costume fitting during the students class time.
We will then send a e-mail for parents/guardians to come back for a SECOND fitting. Hair, make up and alteration details will be discussed during this meeting.
Two pairs of tights will be purchased for each student. Charmette will purchase the tights for the students and payment will be due in May. The price will be the same as in the stores.
Recital is NOT mandatory, but highly encouraged to give our students a valuable learning experience and tradition that goes along with dance lessons. If a CHILD is NOT participating or a certain class, please tell us ASAP so the charge can be removed from their Studio Director account.

You may reserve extra tickets for Recital beyond the performer, guardian and 4 per show that you receive. They are $12 per ticket and can be paid for upon pickup in June. PROFESSIONAL RECITAL PHOTOGRAPHS
Professional Recital Photographs will be taken by TAKE 2 PRODUCTIONS at Charmette on June 1, 2 & 3. A DETAILED schedule will be posted at a LATER DATE, but MOST Pre Dance, Beginner students and Intermediates will be on Saturday:) Stay tuned....
Individual and Class group photos will be taken.
Proofs will be shown at Dress Rehearsal on June 20th.
There is NO OBLIGATION to buy any of these photos that are being taken.
VIDEO and FLASH pictures at Dress Rehearsal ONLY!
There is NO PHOTOGRAPHY at the actual recital.
TAKE 2 PRODUCTIONS will be selling a professional video recording of the recital.
DURING THE RECITAL
ALL students sit in the Balcony with their mother/guardian for the ENTIRE RECITAL. NO students are allowed on the Main floor or LOBBY at intermission, until the entire RECITAL is over. The main floor is for our guests and we do not want students going in and out during the show. We like to have our Recital as professional as possible. If older students are dressing themselves, parents can then sit in main floor of audience.
ALL STUDENTS will participate in the FINALE at the end of the Recital. We ask all parents, friends... to stay for the entire show. The finale will be rehearsed in classes in May/June.
You are invited to participate in our SPECIAL PERFORMANCE for dads, grandpas, step-dads, uncles, etc. NO DANCE EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. We will be selling Ads for our programs. Business cards, personal greetings, photos, good luck wishes.... can be purchased.
Top seller receives their picture in Recital program full page & summer class free. Second and Third place will receive Free Registration Fee for Fall.
The ads mean so much to the students & adds a personal touch to our programs.
**Recital programs will be available on the nights of Recital: $5.00 each
Each student has been emailed a letter with the information on selling Ads for our Recital Program Book. Note that our program this year will be a VERTICAL 8.5"x11" program book. These can be from family, friends or businesses. You must submit the form and send the ad through the following links. These are due NO LATER THAN Sunday, May 27th. ON POINTE DANCEWARE will once again be selling water, dance items, flowers, small gifts….in our Lobby during Recital.
