Heather Moonier is an Illinois native with an extensive background in gymnastics and cheerleading.

Heather was a competitive gymnast in the United States Gymnastics Federation program for 7 years. She went on to compete in power tumbling, trampoline and double mini trampoline with the Amateur Athletic Union and United States Trampoline and Tumbling Association programs for 5 additional years. She transferred her skill set into coaching 9 years of power tumbling, trampoline, double mini trampoline, recreational and cheer-style gymnastics prior to joining Charmette.

Heather enjoyed a lengthy career in cheerleading as well. While in high school, she secured the title of Universal Cheerleader Association’s All Star allowing her to participate at Lord Mayor’s Spectacular New Year’s Day Parade in London, England. She received a cheerleading and presidential scholarship to attend McKendree University. She completed 4 years as a proud Bearcat cheerleader for the football and basketball programs. She extended her cheer career by joining the East Side Justice semi pro football team in it’s inaugural year. Throughout the years, she has conducted several cheerleading clinics and provided competitive cheer routines to multiple Illinois and Missouri schools.

During the day, Heather works for a company that produces full ship music and entertainment cruises. She enjoys traveling the high seas and listening to some of the world’s greatest singers and musicians. She is a proud wife and mother of two daughters, Shay and Lana, who participate on the Stars of Tomorrow team.

Heather has inspired countless youth to follow in her footsteps to stunt and flip towards their goal in life. She is honored to be a part of the magnificent staff at Charmette.
